Dr. Katherine Erlichman, President - Dr. Katherine Erlichman is an ophthalmologist and business owner who has been dedicated to the Bedford County Pink Ribbon Fund since its founding in 2017. As a three-time breast cancer survivor, Kathy understands firsthand the physical and financial tolls of cancer treatment and is passionate about relieving financial burdens for patients so they can focus on healing. Her favorite Pink Ribbon event is the survivor celebration held every spring, where she can lift other cancer survivors up with a celebration of living, fighting the disease and HOPE for the future. In her free time, she enjoys golfing at the Elks Country Club, reading, staying active, and visiting her children and grandchildren.

Cindy Speck, Secretary & Support Group Facilitator - A retired Healthcare IT and Health Records professional, Cindy Speck joined BCPRF in 2019 following her own diagnosis and treatment for stage 2 HER2-positive breast cancer. Inspired to support local breast cancer patients after seeing how the disease touched so many loved ones, Cindy facilitates our Pink Ribbon Support Group meetings where she is able to offer financial, emotional, and spiritual encouragement so no patient is faced to force their journey alone. Outside of her board work, Cindy enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, spending time with her family, and practicing photography.

Kim McGee, Treasurer - Kim is a retired elementary school teacher who has been with BCPRF since 2017. As Treasurer, she helps oversee financial operations in partnership with the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.  Kim is active in our Pink Jail, Launch Party, and October Walk events. Beyond BCPRF, Kim volunteers at the Bedford Area Senior Center and Fort Bedford Museum, manages an Airbnb, and enjoys attending local theater productions and movies.

Nancy Smith, Board Member - Nancy joined the board after facing her own battle with breast cancer, which inspired her to support others walking a similar path. A board member for roughly five years, Nancy lends a hand wherever needed across monthly fundraisers and support group initiatives. Though retired, she stays active spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Shawna Ramsey, Board Member - Shawna joined the board in 2023 after being deeply moved by the support she received from BCPRF during her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2022. With 28 years of experience in credit card payment processing, Shawna brings strong organizational skills to managing the details of our annual survivor celebration. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, walking local trails, watching dirt track races, attending local sporting events, and spending time with her two grandchildren.

Mick Gordon, Launch Party Chairman & Board Member - Mick joined the Pink Ribbon Fund in support of his sister, a two-time breast cancer survivor. He serves as Chairman for our annual Launch Party and is very active in organizing the Cancer Shoot with the Everett Sportsman's Club. Mick finds great satisfaction in working alongside a dedicated team to bring comfort and assistance to local individuals facing cancer.

Susan Koontz, Board Member - Susan serves on the Launch Party committee and has supported BCPRF events, including the Pink Jail, Pink Ribbon Walk, and Rock-A-Thon, for nearly a decade. In her professional life, she works as a Design Consultant and Sales Manager at Impressive Floors in Bedford. Susan is an active choir member at St. Johns Reformed Church and loves spending time traveling with her husband, hosting family and friends, cooking, decorating, and spending time with her five grandchildren.
